Win City (1 - 1) Hamworthy United

A draw was probably all we deserved at Hamworthy, but we came away ruling some missed chances that would have sealed a victory.

The home side started more brightly than us, but we scored against the run of play - Sam Wilson converting a penalty after he was brought down in the area. The rest of the first half was largely forgettable! 

The second period saw a marked improvement, and several scoring opportunities were scorned. As is often the case, the profligate finnishing was punished - with Ben Osborne firing an equaliser soon after appearing as a substitute. No amount of huff and puff could produce a winner for either side - and a point a piece was probably about right!
